Richard Munro

Rich has worked in the property industry since 1990. He began his career as an estate agent, working his way through the ranks from a trainee negotiator to a branch manager. He was mainly based in the London Borough of Bromley and found the job very fulfilling. In 2004, he decided to open his own agency in Beckenham, Kent with a business partner.

His company grew from strength to strength and, in 2005, he opened another branch in Hayes, Kent. This was followed by another branch in Bromley Common in 2006 and one in Bromley High Street in 2007. At one stage, there were over 25 members of staff offering both sales and lettings services, and the company had a large portfolio of landlords. Rich loved his time running the company and learnt a great deal about business in general, working with banks and solicitors alike. He also enjoyed training and developing his team and some have gone on to excel as agents throughout the borough. In 2018, his partner moved away, so they decided to sell the company and, at that time, they were fortunate that it was a good time to sell.

Looking for a new career, mortgages seemed an obvious transition, especially when he knew the property industry so well. So he passed his exams and has been offering advice on mortgages and protection products ever since. Rich prides himself on helping clients through the sometimes tricky process of buying and selling. With all of that extra experience and expertise, he can really help you going forward.

Away from work, Rich is a keen sportsman and follows most sports but especially football, cricket and golf. He also loves spending time with his wife and children and enjoys travelling whenever possible.
